Daddy, look forward to me. Look forward to me, Daddy!
To develop in my backyard of peace and religion,
on your prayers will information my each step,
and your ardour will shield my younger coronary heart.
I wish to maintain your affirming, mushy palms
that give due to God for mercy and beauty,
that search inexperienced pastures of knowledge and relaxation.
Look forward to me, Father. Father, look forward to me!
To shine my mild of promise and pleasure,
on your ageless smile will consolation my coronary heart,
and your power can be my protect and my sword.
I wish to stand by you, my protector,
that follows the winds swaying towards hope,
that hears the birdsong of justice and love.
Papa, look forward to me. Look forward to me, Papa!
To weep in the course of the storms of grief and loss,
on your sacred arms will embrace my tears,
and your eyes will see my backyard of development,
that can give thanks for the time we’ve got spent,
that can honor the life we’ve got planted.
